**Submission Guidelines**

This journal reports on the basic theoretical research and engineering application research results in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering in China, including new technologies and methods. Research articles and reviews are welcomed. Outstanding papers may be given priority for publication. The submission website is https://hxgy.cbpt.cnki.net.

1. Submission Agreements

1.1 Manuscripts should be original works of the authors and should not be submitted to multiple journals simultaneously.

1.2 The journal reserves the right to make general modifications and standard technical processing of the manuscript content. The authors retain the copyright of the manuscript and are responsible for its content after publication.

1.3 A certain article processing charge (APC) will be charged for accepted manuscripts, and an official invoice will be issued upon payment. Once a manuscript is published, a modest remuneration and a copy of the journal issue will be provided. For manuscripts not accepted, only an email notification will be sent, and the original manuscript will not be returned.

1.4 When submitting articles to domestic and international databases and indexing institutions, the journal will not seek further consent from the authors. The copyright usage fee and the journal's remuneration will be paid in full at one time after the manuscript is published (if you do not agree, please indicate this at the time of submission; otherwise, it will be considered as consent to inclusion).

2. Notes for Manuscript Submission

2.1 Manuscripts must be factual, with clear viewpoints, reliable data, and accurate figures and tables.

2.2 The content of the manuscript should be complete. The general order of the manuscript items is as follows: title, author names, author affiliations and their cities, postal code, Chinese abstract, keywords, Chinese Library Classification number, document identification code, English title, pinyin of author names, English translation of author affiliations, English abstract, English keywords, main text, and references. On the first page of the manuscript, provide a brief introduction of the first author (including year of birth, gender, title (degree), main research direction, and the project or fund sponsorship source and approval number). Also, provide the contact person's E-mail address.

2.3 The text should be concise and fluent. Figures and tables should be minimal and essential. Standard Chinese characters and punctuation marks should be used, and numbers and units of measurement should comply with relevant national standards.

2.4 The length of the paper (including figures and tables) is generally limited to within 7,000 words, with no more than eight figures.

2.5 The paper title should be within 20 characters, the Chinese abstract around 200 words, the English abstract around 200 words, and the keywords 3–8. The introduction of the paper is not numbered, and the main text headings are numbered as 1; 1.1; 1.1.1; 2; …, starting at the left margin without indentation.

2.6 The Chinese and English abstracts should outline the research problem, process, methods, and results of the paper, with both qualitative and quantitative descriptions. The introduction should provide the background of the research, the purpose of the paper, and its significance. Note that the abstract, introduction, and conclusion should not repeat each other.

2.7 Figures and tables must be self-explanatory, with abbreviations, symbols, and significant digits consistent with those in the main text. The content of figures and tables should not be duplicated. Tables should use a three-line format. Computer-generated curves should be inserted in the text, with figure numbers, titles, and captions below the figures. Axis tick marks should point inward. Half-column figures should not exceed 7.5 cm in width, and full-column figures should not exceed 15 cm in width. Microscope images should indicate the internal scale ratio and magnification.

2.8 References should be numbered in the order they appear in the text and marked with square brackets in the upper right corner of the citation. When listing authors, the surname should come first (in full capital letters), followed by the given name (with the first letter capitalized and no period afterward). Multiple authors should be separated by commas (list all authors if there are three or fewer; for more than three, list the first three followed by “et al.”). Journal names should be abbreviated according to standard conventions. The format of references should follow GB/T 7714-2015 "Rules for the Compilation of References."
